Blog Post #23 - Script Revision 2

I have made some changes to the first scene of my script due to the pacing problems I have encountered in my past few blog posts. This revised version of the script should hopefully help slow down my project's pacing, and make it seem more like a full-length film, instead of a short project. 


In this revision of the script, I lengthened and detailed the sequence of Fern drinking coffee and reading the S.K.B.D. news. I also extended the dialogue between Fern and Ed, leaving things to be set up (if it were to be full-length), such as with the documents and security cameras. The dialogue helps to detail Fern and Ed's character.


I left everything mostly unchanged in the other scenes, as I don't think they will end up being included anymore, due to the slower pace of the first and second sequences— being the office and the timelapse of the car ride.

I will be continuing to research and to plan and revise my project over the next week, it is likely that I will start to record my project next week. My next step will be to revise my storyboard, to fit the script,

Blog Post #41 - Obstacles Recording the Security Camera Scene

 While me and my actors were getting ready to start recording, we ran into multiple unexpected problems. The scene I will be discussing in this post is the scene of the security camera footage, which features the Killer killing Lacey's Child, the Killer played by me, and the child by Ethan. The script for this scene has the killer approaching the child, and stabbing him, with (fake) blood flying out.
